This site blogs our Toy Hobbies, Toy Customization and Toy Collection. We wanted to share our passion for these two hobbies of ours.
This site will be regularly updated and will keep it exciting for guest to comeback. We will post our custom projects and inject some few comments. This site will also host our Toy Collections. We will entertain comments and questions.
ABOUT THE HOBBIES
Toy Collection
I am first and foremost a toy collector. I started seriously collecting year 2001. I remember getting hooked by the Marvel Legends Series 1 because of its details and articulation. But I was more into the Super Heroes only and didn’t bother to get the villains. Only to realize during the release of Series 6, I also need those villains (which are much expensive, by the way). I frequent Shopsville Greenhills, mecca for toys, to get those back releases. I was also introduced into toy forums and specialized toy shops where I get most of my toys. Come Series 7, I have been buying in sets, which tends to be more cheaper plus I get the variants.
Aside from the Marvel Legends phenomenon, I also got hooked to other 6″ fully articulated toy lines, some few 12″ figures, die-cast cars, Gundam MSIAs and others. My passion for the hobby grew until I filled up my display cabinets and room with lots of toys.
Toy Customization
In order to complete my super hero rosters, I started buying quality customized action figures from fellow toy collectors and customizers. Then it finally hit me, why don’t try it out. Getting tips and pointers from fellow customizers, I started customizing around year 2006. Enjoyed it so much that I invested money and time on it. With the unstoppable increase in prices of the toys nowadays, decreasing quality, release of unwanted figures and others, I decided to concentrate on toy customization. I seldom buy toys anymore.

Toy Collector since 2001 and started Toy Customization April 2006. My first project was Multiple Man (X-Factor). Most of my custom projects are theme related. I wanted to complete our Alpha Flight, X-Men, X-Factor, Spider-Man Gallery and others.

Long-time supporter of my husband’s passion for Toy Collection and Customization. Also had my hand on toy customization since January 2007. I’m into customizing women X-Men. Though, I’m not that active and only have few custom projects, I still help my husband. I am his quality assurance checker. Would love to do some custom projects soon.

Ey… checked your site through Figurerealm. Gaganda ng gawa mo dude, and lucky you kasi your wife helps out. Though my wife supports me with my toy collecting hobby as well as costomizing it would be nice if she could join me. Sabi naman ng daughter ko “Daddy I want to make stuff like you”…ahaha future costomizer diba!!! Its a big thing to see that there are a lot of Filipino who is into customizing, makes me proud to see their work sa totoo lang. I just started customizing I think this March. Still have a lot to learn pero not giving up. Again dude… you have a great website as well as costumized toys… i mean action figures pala (LOL).
Nice to see you here Niallskie! Toy customizing is a growing community here in the Philippines. Though some come and go. Others easily get discouraged, especially when they compare their works with others. Kaya nga I alway say na don’t compare your works to others, compare it to your previous works. Then you can see you are improving.
There’s a lot of pinoy customizers making their mark in the international community.
